Sea Survival (STCW)

This module Sea Survival is part of the STCW Basic Training. Some companies choose their staff only to follow this training. We don’t have this course scheduled on a regular basis, but we can plan this course for you upon request.

In this course the following topics are covered:

  • The dangers and symptoms of hypothermia;
  • benefits and limitations of the various Lifejackets used in the industry;
  • Using various Life Jackets
  • Basics of survival at sea, individually and in groups.

Planning:
We can plan this course on request. In both cases we ask you to contact STC NEXT for booking this course.

Language:
The training is given in English or Durth. We can organize this training in a different language for groups on request and if necessary with an interpreter.

Requirements for participation:
In order to participate in this training, participants need a valid Seafarers medical examination.
