The Further Offshore Emergency Training (0.5a / FOET) is a one day refresher training. This course is designed for offshore personnel whose 0.5a / BOSIET certificate is about to expire. During this training offshore personnell refresh their knowledge and skills concerning survival techniques, medical knowledge and survival at sea. The FOET Training must be followed before the expiration date of the old BOSIET/ FOET certificate.
This FOET training contains:
- Safety induction;
- Fire fighting;
- First aid / hypothermia;
- Helicopter safety/ HUET + EBS;
- Norwegian escape Chute.

If you schedule the FOET training within three months before the expiration of your old certificate, the new expiry date is based on the expiration date of your old certificate. If you schedule the training prior those 3 months before the expiry date of your old certificate, the new expiry date is based on the date of participation.
We expect the participants at 07.45 on this training day, training ends no later than 17.00, unless the participant attends additional training(s).
The training is in English. On request we can organize this training in a different language for groups and if necessary with an interpreter.

Requirements for participation:
In order to participate to the training, participants need to have a valid offshore medical certificate or declaration of good health from their doctor. We can arrange a Nogepa medical examination for the participants on our training facilities. On www.nogepa.nl you can find a certified doctor nearby to book the declaration of good health yourself.
