FOET (OPITO 5850) / 0.5B + CA-EBS (incl. Escape Chute Training)
The Further Offshore Emergency Training (0.5b FOET) is a one-day refresher course. The training is intended for offshore personnel whose 0.5A BOSIET or 0.5b FOET certificate will expire shortly.
This training refreshes knowledge and skills regarding basic safety on platforms, survival at sea and the provision of (basic) first aid.
The FOET training must be followed before the expiration date of the old certificate. This training is an OPITO, NOGEPA and OLF certified training course. The training is accepted worldwide. The certificate is valid for four years. Within four years, the training course must be repeated (again) with Further Offshore Emergency Training (NOGEPA 0.5b FOET). The Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) training is now also included in the Nogepa 0.5a & 0.5b training.

This FOET training contains:
- Safety induction;
- Fire fighting;
- First aid / hypothermia;
- Helicopter safety/ HUET + EBS;
- Norwegian escape Chute;
- Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA EBS)
What should I bring?
- Valid identification (passport, identity card, driving license)
- Valid medical examination certificate
- Dry underwear
- Safety passport (PSL) if in possession. You will receive a sticker for your safety passport (PSL) after the training. A safety passport is optionally available from us for € 17.50 (excl 21% VAT)
Following the 0.5B FOET, the following training sessions can be booked:
- Crew Basket Training;
- H2S Training – NOGEPA certified;
- S-CAPE;
- Medical Examination (click here for more information).
Please note that the FOET only includes one day of training. If several additional training sessions are booked, it may not be possible to attend all in one day. If it is not possible for all training sessions to be attended in one day, we will contact you. The additional trainings can be selected in step 3 of the booking form.
To participate in this training you will need a medical examination, NOGEPA Offshore or OGUK Offshore medical examination..

On www.nogepa.nl you can find a certified doctor nearby to book the declaration of good health yourself.
A valid 0.5A BOSIET or 0.5B FOET certificate is required for participation in this training course.
If you schedule the FOET training within three months before the expiration of your old certificate, the new expiry date is based on the expiration date of your old certificate. If you schedule the training prior those 3 months before the expiry date of your old certificate, the new expiry date is based on the date of participation.
Training times:
We expect the participants at 07.45 on this training day, training ends no later than 16.30, unless the participant attends additional training(s).
Language:
The training is in English. On request we can organize this training in a different language for groups and if necessary with an interpreter.
