BOSIET (OPITO 5750) / 0.5A + CA-EBS (incl. Escape Chute Training)
The Basic Offshore Safety Introduction and Emergency Training (BOSIET 0.5a + NOG- supplement) is a three-day training intended for employees working in the offshore sector. The aim of this training is to provide knowledge to offshore personnel about basic safety on platforms, survival at sea and providing (basic) first aid.
The 0.5a BOSIET + NOG- supplement is OPITO and NOGEPA approved, NOG accepted and is valid worldwide. The certificate is valid for 4 years. Within 4 years the certificate has to be refreshed by doing a 0.5b/ FOET training. The Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA EBS) training is now also included in the Nogepa 0.5a & 0.5b training as standard.

This Bosiet training includes:
- Safety induction;
- Fire fighting;
- First aid;
- Hypothermia;
- Helicopter safety/ HUET + EBS;
- Lifeboat Theory and Practice;
- Survival Theory and Practice;
- Norwegian escape Chute;
- Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA EBS)
What should I bring?
- Valid identification (passport, identity card, driving license);
- Valid medical examination certificate;
- Dry underwear.
You will receive a sticker for your safety passport (PSL) after the training. A safety passport is optionally available from us for € 17.50 (excl 21% VAT)

To participate in this training you will need a medical examination, NOGEPA Offshore or OGUK Offshore medical examination certificate doctor.
You can book a NOGEPA Offshore medical examination with us. Please mention this in step 3 in the booking form. STC NEXT can arrange this medical examination for you. On www.nogepa.nl you can find a certified doctor nearby to book the declaration of good health yourself.
Training times:
We expect the participants at 07.45 on the first training day. The following days start at 08:30. All training days end no later than 16:30, unless the participant attends additional training(s).
Price:
The above price includes registration fee, use of practical tools, teaching materials, lunch, coffee and tea. Please note that the above price does not include VAT.
Language:
The training is given in English. On request we can organize this training in a different language for groups and if necessary with an interpreter.
