Socket Termination Course
This one-day practical training is intended for individuals and / or companies that are engaged in maintenance and fitting end connections (sockets) to steel cables. In this course the delegates will be trained how to carry out socketing in a correct way by using safe working practices.
This Socket Termination Course contents:
- Different kind of connections and the use of these;
- Required tools and resources;
- Methods and procedures;
- Preperation – What measurements should be taken and how;
- Mixing and pouring resin;
- Choosing the right method and procedure to fit the conections.
After a short theoretical instruction this course focuses mainly on practical excercices.
The theoretical part is concluded with a written test and practical exam that consists of a self-made socket.
What should I bring?
- Valid identification (passport, identity card, driving license).
You will receive a sticker for your safety passport (PSL) after the training. A safety passport is optionally available from us for € 17.50 (excl 21% VAT)
