Working at Height STC NEXT

This 1-day training course is designed for personnel working in the wind industry, onshore and/or offshore, involved in the construction, maintenance and/or servicing of onshore and/or offshore wind turbines and wind farms. The focus is on knowledge of the risks of working at height and accident prevention. An STC NEXT certificate is issued with this training, this is not a GWO certified training course.

The Working at Heights training provides participants with knowledge on risks, legislation, (inspection of) equipment, etc. It also teaches skills needed to work safely at heights.
With this training, focusing on both theory and practice, STC NEXT contributes to a safer working environment for personnel in the wind industry.

This training course covers the following components:

Theory

  • Legislation and regulations
  • Working at height strategy
  • Collective fall protection
  • Personal protection equipment

Practice

  • Harnessing and buddycheck
  • Safe climbing and positioning

What should I bring?

  • Valid identification (passport, identity card, driving license);

Training times:
We expect the participants at 07.45 on the first training day. The following days start at 08:30. All training days end no later than 16:30, unless the participant attends additional training(s).

Price:
The above price includes registration fee, use of practical tools, teaching materials, lunch, coffee and tea. Please note that the above price does not include VAT.

Language:
The training is given in English. On request we can organize this training in a different language for groups and if necessary with an interpreter.

Details:
Good physical condition is a requirement.
Participants should not weigh more than 124 kg due to the carrying capacity of the materials used during the training. Please bring your own safety shoes.
